Every school in the district will receive repairs and improvements!
Voting YES allows for:
- Security upgrades to keep our students safe at school including updated cameras, locking mechanisms for classroom doors, and more security vestibules
- Attracting and retaining quality teachers
- Maintaining school counseling and suicide prevention programs
- Expanded school-based mental health facilities to help our students needing additional support
- P-TECH, a partnership with a local community college and healthcare provider to offer training for in-demand jobs, internships, mentoring, and apprenticeships so students graduate ready to fill available, good-paying jobs.
- More preschool space to support and prepare our youngest learners for their educational journey
Increased Career and Technical Education (CTE) in all high schools
- Additional learning spaces for both classrooms and workshops
Much-needed upgrades to outdated and deteriorating facilities
- Extensive remodel of Gateway High School
- Replacing or repairing roofs and HVAC systems
The construction of brand new schools
- New high school
- 2 new P-8 schools
- Replacing Laredo Elementary
